Justin Larson is Gearing up for The Florida Governor’s Cup at New Smyrna Speedway!
November 11, 2008 - It has been three weeks since the Justin Larson Racing, Inc. team finished second at Charlotte County Motorsports in the ASA South race and earned the 2008 ASA South Series Rookie of the Year title. The team is now looking forward to the Florida Governor’s Cup Super Late Model event at New Smyrna Speedway on November 22nd.
This weekend, Justin and the #88 Skinner Nurseries Chevrolet will use the Brighthouse Challenge 75-lap event as a test and tune session in preparation for the big 200 lap season ending event the following weekend. The 20-year-old looks to etch his name in the record books as the 43rd Florida Governor’s Cup Champion next to drivers like Ed Howe, LeRoy Porter, Dick Trickle, Pete Orr, Dick Anderson, Bobby Gill, Billy Bigley Jr., and his uncle Jimmy Cope.
