Larson Looks To Get Back Behind Wheel…
08/04/2009 - After racing only once during the month of July, Justin Larson is anxiously waiting to get back on the track. Justin and his team traveled to New Smyrna Speedway on July 2nd for the Clyde Hart Memorial 100 in the Super Late Model. Larson started sixth and finished seventh on the night.
Up next for Larson was the ASA South series race at Charlotte County Speedway in Punta Gorda, FL. The team practiced both Friday night and Saturday. As thunderstorms were apparent off in the distance, ASA and the staff at CCMP did their best to complete qualifying. Minutes after qualifying was complete, the thunderstorms rolled in and the event was cancelled and rescheduled for sometime this October.
On August 14th-15th, the Justin Larson Racing, Inc. team will travel to the Nashville Super Speedway in Nashville, TN for an ASA Late Model Series Challenge race. “I’ve heard a lot of teams added this race to their schedule and there should be a big turnout of talented drivers. This race took the place of Bristol for us since Bristol got canceled. I’m really excited about it and can’t wait to get back in the seat,” explained Larson.
At the end of August, Justin Larson will hit the road and head to Concord Motor Speedway in Concord, NC for the last and final event in the ASA Late Model South Series division. Be sure to check back for all the press releases, results, and photos from the upcoming events!
