The Justin Larson Racing, Inc. team heads to New Smyrna Speedway this week to participate in the 43rd Annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing. The Speedweeks event started Friday, February 6th and is set to conclude on Saturday, February 14th. Larson will be running his own Super Late Model equipment in Thursday’s 50 lap event and also on Saturday for the Pete Orr Memorial 100. Justin was asked to join in and lend a helping hand throughout the week for Crate Late Model Rookie, Matt Cohen. On Saturday, Justin had the opportunity to hop in a Late Model funded by the Jessica Murphy team. After a successful night, Larson was asked to return to the seat for Sunday’s race and the remainder of Speedweeks. “It’s a great honor to come to Speedweeks and be able to act as a mentor for Matt and lend a helping hand with his team. It’s nice to have also had the opportunity to run Jessica’s backup car. At first I was just asked to practice in it and the next thing I know, I’m racing it. Nothing beats seat time. I’m excited for the remainder of the week and I can’t wait to see what the Justin Larson Racing, Inc. team and I have in store with the Super Late Model.”
